About Your Team

Kristen Seybold

I have been practicing hygiene since 2006 and have worked at Waterford since 2010

Education: I graduated from Prairie State Dental Hygiene School in 2006 (located in Chicago Heights, IL) with an Associate in Applied Science.

Why did you decide to work in the dental profession? I love health and fitness. As a hygienist, I get to treat and help prevent oral diseases. I enjoy helping patients understand how their oral health and food habits affect their overall body.

Family: I married my husband, Justin, in 2011. We have 3 kids; Tenley, Corbin, and my stepson Keegan. Our family fur baby is a husky named Skyy, who keeps everyone busy.

Hobbies: Our family loves the outdoors. During the summer time you will find us camping, fishing or boating. When fall and winter arrive, football season takes over. I will not miss a Packer’s game.

Amanda Gruenhagen

I have worked in the dental field since 2004 and started at Waterford in 2016

Education: Scott Community College 2004 Associates in Dental Assisting

My Mission: To let my patients know I care about their dental and overall health.  Also, to make long lasting relationships with patients on a personal level.

Family:  I married my best friend in 2010.  In 2012, we were blessed with twins, a boy and a girl.  They are our world and keep us very busy.  We also have a 10 year old cat named “Link”

Hobbies:  I enjoy spending time with family and friends, participating with different volunteer organizations throughout the community, and also I’m an active member at Sacred Heart Cathedral.  My favorite color is green!

Favorite quote you live by: “Only brush and floss the teeth you want to keep!”

Cassidy Carman

Education: I graduated with an Associate’s degree in Dental Hygiene from Carl Sandburg College in 2012, and I became a registered dental hygienist within that year as well.

Why did you decide to work in the dental profession? My teeth were the one thing that I ever wanted to change about myself growing up. Taking care of my smile was very important to me after having my teeth aligned with orthodontics, and this is what inspired me to be a part of the dental field.

Family: I am originally from the Quad cities (Illinois). I currently live in East Moline, Illinois with my Daughter Anyiah.

Hobbies: I love spending time with my daughter Anyiah. I enjoy running and I am very active and involved within my church.

Corinna Young

Education: Graduated from Carl Sandburg College in 2011.

Why did you decide to work in the dental profession? Being a Dental Hygienist allowed me the flexibility to spend more time with my kids when they were younger. Every patient is unique so my job is constantly changing.

Family: I have 2 great kids, Lauren and Logan. My husband Jim and I just celebrated our 18 year wedding anniversary. We have 2 energetic dogs and 1 cat.

Hobbies: I love spending time with family and friends whether it’s in our pool or out on the boat. I enjoy going on vacations especially if there’s a beach!

Andrea Estell

I have worked at Waterford Family Dentistry since 2005

Education: Scott Community College 2005 Associates in Dental Assisting

Why did you decide to work in the dental profession? I became a dental assistant because of my past dental experiences growing up. I have such great memories and I wanted to be able to share those with others. I enjoy being able to calm patient fears and give each person their own positive dental experience.

Family: I have lived in the Quad Cities my whole life. I met my husband in middle school and we married in 2011. We have 2 energetic kids and a lazy cat.

Hobbies: In my spare time, I enjoy repurposing items and finding rusty junk. My kids and I like going to craft shows and garage sales. My family and I enjoy going to parks and we spend most of our weekends cooking barbeque with our friends and family.

Dayna Koch

I have been in the dental field for 23 years and joined Waterford Dentistry in 2018.

Dayna brings a strong business background to the team. She is passionate about the Waterford team and about providing exceptional care for all patients. She loves talking with patients about treatment, insurance and answering any questions they may have.

Hobbies: When not at work Dayna enjoys spending time with family. She always enjoys her grandchildren whenever they are here from Missouri! She is definitely blessed!

Anjel Niaves

I attended Pleaseant Valley High School. Over the years I have acquired different skills that I enjoy, such as, detailing cars, welding and driving a fork truck. I am extremely passionate about customer service and love challenging myself every day.

Family: I love spending time with my loving fiancée and my son, Josiah.

Hobbies: In my spare time, I enjoy playing guitar, singing, and writing my own songs. Music is a huge part of my daily life and I enjoy dancing and singing with my family. I have been teaching myself and my family sign language this past year. Sign language has been a passion of mine since childhood. I love anything outdoors and during the summer my family and I partake in 1800’s reenactments where we camp out in canvas tents.
